Lake Superior Beauty and Romance

I have traveled all over the United States and the beauty and romance of Lake Superior and the North Shore surpasses many of those destinations. Jim and I have been planning a little trip for the end of April (sorry, we will be closed the last week of this month) and figured we'd go south. We were thinking about camping and backpacking and seeing some different scenery. Well, after much thought, we couldn't think of a better place to go then around Lake Superior. With the onset of early spring, why go south? We're excited about the prospect of hiking, camping and staying at B&B's along the way. As it is still off-season most places, we should avoid crowds and difficulty finding lodging.

Actually, this is a great time to come to Duluth and stay at The Ellery House, as we are still on lower winter rates until mid-May. We have good availability for many nights in the next month. Come enjoy scenic Lake Superior and a relaxing stay at our B&B!
